Allan Goes is a 6th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) who was a member of the legendary squad led by Carlson Gracie that reigned the sport in the late 1980s/early 1990s. When the Carlson Gracie Academy’s focus changed to cage fighting, Allan Goes was a pioneer mixed martial arts (MMA) competitor, competing in promotions all over the world. Góes was also one of Carlson Gracie’s first disciples to bring the legendary CGA grappling system to the United States.
