The most effective foot-performed movements in accordance with the traditional Muay Thai Boran have been combined with the ground submissions of Vacirca Jiu-Jitsu to develop a hybrid system that meets strict scientific European requirements. There are four tiers of technical education, beginning with the foundational material covered in the first DVD and culminating in the level required to acquire the “teacher” designation. The Vale-Tudo Cross Fighting of Vacirca and De Cesaris prepares the pupil to understand the fundamentals of striking from a standing position, including the use of the elbow, fist, knee, and head. Submissions involving strangleholds and joint locks are among the several options available after being thrown to the ground or having a clinch move go wrong.
