Bo Kobudo & Aikido Bo-Jutsu with Jose Isidro

Master Isidro gives us a whole project on the Bo, a long staff from the Japanese martial culture that is known for its quick, fluid, powerful, and effective handling. This DVD is broken into four portions that teach us the basic technique and katas that will assist trainees enhance their abilities and weapon control, Ukemi Waza (falls) exercises, and ultimately, technical application. We will use the Bo in defensive action against Uke’s strikes, using the same tactics we learned in empty hands defense, such as Ikkyo, Sankyo, Shionage, and so on. An real display of looseness and power that makes the Bo a very exceptional weapon.
