Bruce Bookman Sensei has 50 years of aikido expertise, nearly 25 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (black belt) training, and years of boxing experience.

Although Bruce Bookman devotes 90% of his time to classical aikido education and practice, he believes in self-defense capabilities and has prioritized them at his dojo and in his own personal expression as a martial artist.
