Quote:Gents, I’m not sure which videos you’re referring to, but Carl’s hands were exactly the size of any lead pipe or piece of steel! Believe me, I am aware! He tried to be gentle with us because even a light touch from him may cause terrible hurt.
His methods were all based on extensive training and experience.
Few individuals on the earth have experienced what he has.
He has survived countless of clashes with those who wanted to murder him every day.
You decide whether his finger is a hilarious story.
He once punched a fellow, and the tooth triggered an infection in his finger, killing the nerve endings, leaving him with a “dead” finger.
He got it severed since it was impeding his training! The doctor wanted to sedate him, but he refused! So the doctor gave him a local and he stood there watching the person chop off his finger with what seemed to be a baby saws all.
He wanted to wear it as a necklace (gross), but they had to retain it for insurance reasons. – bullshido.net 1ofthepack Carl Cestari was most renowned for his research, training, and teaching of numerous tactics of WWII close-quarters combat, but he also had a strong foundation in Japanese and Okinawan martial arts.
He began studying in Kodokan Judo at the age of seven under world-renowned Judo Instructor Yoshisada Yonezuka, and subsequently in Tani-Ha Shito Ryu Karate under Shigeru Kimura at the Judo-Karate Center in Cranford, New Jersey.
Carl was a Martial Artist through and through, and he spent his whole life researching the martial arts and its early history.
Carl, I believe, served in the United States Army Reserves in the mid-1970s.
Carl began a career in law enforcement as a police officer in or around 1977-78, serving in a local police department until being moved to a federal agency and then returned to his old station.
Carl began examining several Military Close-Quarter Combat methods designed for troops during the Second World War about this period.
Over the years, Carl sought out former Close-Combat Instructors to train, interview, or contact with.
These instructors came from the United States Army Special Forces, the United States Army Rangers, Paratroopers, Marine Raiders & Scouts, the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Counter Intelligence Corps, the Military Intelligence Division, and the First Special Service Force, also known as the “Devil’s Brigade” or “Black Devil’s.”
Carl began researching martial arts and different self-defense techniques at the age of seven, when he began collecting martial arts periodicals, books, and mail order training.
Carl had amassed a library of thousands of books, hundreds of magazines, and hundreds of videos and DVDs over the course of 40 years.
His library was one of the most enormous and remarkable in the WORLD.
When another collector Carl and I knew stepped inside Carl’s library, he was in amazement.
