Chinese Wushu Exhibition Project – Four-technique Quan of Cock style Vol.4

Xing Yi Quan Series DVD/DVDs in the traditional Shan Xi style Today, there are three major styles of Xing Yi Quan practiced: the Henan style, the Hebei style, and the Shan Xi form.
The Shan Xi style is known as the original style, with energetic and forceful energy released through its motions.

4.Four-technique Cock style Quan (SXYD05) – 44 min.
Cock style’s four-technique Quan is known as four Techniques for short.
It is a typical Xingyi Quan routine.
We name it Four-technique Quan of Cock style because it comprises four methods in its Cock style.
This routine is sensible and vivid, with the perfect force to demonstrate cock characteristics such as the capacity to stand on one foot, the action of pecking a grain of rice, the manner of shaking plume, and the confidence to fight.
This set demonstrates all of the hand tactics for striking and defending.
It is a useful technique for both practice and combat.
