Volume 9 of Yang Lu-Silk ch’an’s Reeling Old Style Form. This is the final in the series and takes you from the conclusion of Volume 8 to the end ofsthe third 3rd. This volume is very lovely since it contains several incredibly practical and beautiful qigong practices, such as the Spiral way of Slant. Flying opens up the 7 Gates to spiritual Qi when done in the Spiral way. Fair Lady Works Shuttles’ following postures then take that energy intake and lock it in to the tantien. The final third has been specifically designed to work the Qi even more effectively. The last motions, from Step Forward to 7 Stars to the punch following the Lotus kick, truly get the body moving in perfect harmony with the inner flow of Qi, and the forceful punch really anchors that Qi into the tantien.
