Haedong Kumdo – Korean Sword Art

Haedong Kumdo includes both wooden training sword and forged steel sword exercise.
Both methods of practice are presented by top Korean Kumdo experts on the Haedong Kumdo: Korean Sword Art DVD.
The masters display training exercises, fundamental skills, and fighting drills with a partner using the wooden sword.
They then go on to more sophisticated cutting sequences with the live blade sword, featuring spectacular demonstrations of cutting proficiency in which bamboo is chopped and candles are extinguished with superb speed.
This show was shot in Korea at the Haedong Kumdo headquarters and includes performances and interviews with Korea’s top Haedong Kumdo masters.
