According to the website:
Let’s get straight to it, people.
This is my weapon course for KNIFE / COUNTER-KNIFE.
If you’re seeking for elegant, exotic, showy, foreign, mystery knife material with strange names and weird individuals, you’ve come to the wrong place. I just teach you the fundamentals of knife combatives.
And I despise the phrase “knife fighting.” I’ve been doing this for almost three decades, long before it was popular.
I’ve seen a lot of knife crazes come and go.
Many of them were superficial and, to be honest, communicated the incorrect, flippant impression about the subject’s unpleasant facts.
According to criminal and military history, a real-world knife battle is more like football or rugby than fencing.
So-called “dueling” can occur, although it is a rare occurrence in our present day of mixed weaponry in war and crime.
In this course, I’ve carefully developed a curriculum in which you’ll learn how to wield a knife to its full potential in all grips: standing, kneeling, sitting, and on the ground, with fatal and less-than-lethal effects.
In this course, I’ve painstakingly constructed a theory that will teach you how to wield a knife to its greatest capacity.
This ideology incorporates the best aspects of military knife combat, including Russian Speznatz Knife Fighting, South African and Rhodesian knife fighting, Filipino knife fighting, American and European knife fighting.
This also covers a study of criminal and jail knife combat, as well as training improvements.
The training methods are as follows:
1) The Psychology of Knife Violence – You will study about criminal and military psychology, as well as research and history.
2) Solo Knife Command and Mastery – By practicing moves, you will develop body movement and synergy “in the atmosphere
†You learn to attack stationary training objects in order to gain goal-specific power and experience.
3) Knife Drills with a Partner – You slash and stab moving targets held by a partner.
Later, he retaliates against you.
To increase your balance, coordination, and savvy, you study a restricted number of recognized skill and flow drills.
4) Combat Knife Scenarios – You work in realistically staged standing, kneeling, sitting, and ground combat scenarios.
The photo below depicts the outcome of such an encounter in a case on which I worked as a detective.
That’s not a brain on his stomach! The images in these photographs depict the horrible reality of knife confrontations.
This is not a game of “duel-tag” with a rubber toy that you play “passy-passy, tappy-tappy” with in the corner of a gym; rather, it is more akin to rugby with knives.
5) Issues of morality, ethics, law, and politics Knife Levels and Certifications You can only train for knowledge, rank, or knife instructorships.
The following is the development of knife instructorship:
– Knife practitioner: A regular “student”- Knife class organizer: A practitioner allowed to assemble individuals to work out and build skills- Knife Basic instructor: A practitioner who teaches basic knife skills. Knife Advanced instructor: After Level 6 (more time and grade produces some “advanced” skills) – Knife Expertise Trainer: Following Level 9, ( a certain level expertise is achieved after more time and grade) – Range Master instructor: (as in Range Master or Master SGT. – not a martial arts master) – OR! Simply train with the knife for information and ignore any rank and instructors.
The following is the evolution of your knife training course:
Level 1: Introduction to Edged Weapons and Combat Stress Knife â€oeQuick Draw†Module: (A two-part DVD or online video): Primer 1 – Warposts; Primer 1 – Quick Draws
