“I’ve been doing martial arts for 9 years.
I hold a brown belt in jiu-jitsu and have also studied boxing and kickboxing.
This is the greatest open-handed hitting stuff I’ve ever seen.
Despite my more “technical” martial arts training, if I needed something to save my skin quickly, this is the item I’d reach for first.
The open handed striking teaching and the outstanding weapons education (by far the best realistic, practical weapons defense instruction I’ve come across) are the high points.
The ground combat teaching on the DVDs is a tad TOO simple in my opinion.
As previously stated, I am a jiu-jitsu brown belt, so it is difficult for me to categorize that experience; nonetheless, it may be excellent ground training for someone with no ground experience.
Grover is guaranteed to discuss ideas and drills in addition to the skills.
This is a fantastic DVD.”
