Sergey Kozlov, a former Alpha Group officer, created this informative video (also known as Spetsgruppa A).
This elite counter-terrorism unit is part of the FSB’s (previously KGB’s) special forces, and its principal objectives include counter-terrorist missions and the security of Russian leaders and foreign guests.
Mr. Kozlov actively participated in safeguarding the protection of Russian national VIPs such as the President and Prime Minister, as well as international leaders visiting Russia, from 1992 to 1997.
He currently runs a private firm that specializes in people security training.
