Najmi has developed into one of the sport’s most intriguing grapplers under the direction of Jiu-Jitsu veteran Romulo Barral. Edwin was motivated to win gold as a purple belt after placing second at both white belt and blue belt at IBJJF Worlds, but when a lack in focus cost him the opportunity, he joined the absolute class and produced one of the most thrilling and memorable performances in the tournament’s history.
