Boxing, in my opinion, is the foundation of every self-defense training.
To make it functional, you must be in fighting shape (excellent fitness) and work at it.
That has several advantages for a man.
It is a very adaptable and no-nonsense method of effective self-defense.
You get hit and then learn how to hit.
A ‘live fire’ demonstration of what a battle is all about! Boxing may also be employed in a variety of other situations.
You still need some information (a lot, not just some) on kicks and grappling, but boxing, in my opinion, is the foundation of ass whipping.
This training here is really good at teaching a man how to improve his punching abilities.
Train for 3 months, 2-3 times a week, for 2 hours at a time, and you will improve your fists.

There’s a lot of information here—85% of what you’d acquire with IRL instruction from Hatmaker and his crew (for whatever that’s worth!). LOL!) Hatmaker has a few boxing DVDs but is most renowned for his grappling workouts (more known is a highly relative term…). This six-DVD package is enjoyable to watch.
Overall, I enjoyed it.
