This rare DVD, delivered by the late Grandmaster Moy Yat, covers every aspect of the Ving Tsun method.

Grandmaster Moy Yat demonstrates the Siu Nim Tau, Chum Kiu, and Biu Jee forms on this educational and detailed DVD.

The Grandmaster also does the 108 wooden dummy form.

There are demonstrations of stances, leg methods, workouts, and single and double-hand Chi Sao drills.

Ving Tsun self-defense applications are also mentioned.

In addition to examining Moy Yat’s forms, there is a brief applications part to better show the simplicity of Ving Tsun. Moy Yat is noted for explaining Ving Tsun in simple terms, allowing novices to grasp the subject being taught while reminding experienced students to return to the basics in order to respond to increasingly complex fighting scenarios.

Throughout his life, Grandmaster Moy Yat made a series of videos with the intention of capturing and sharing his insights on the ving tsun system with his pupils and helping the next generations better grasp ving tsun.

Because many of the films he created were not meant for release, production quality took a second place to content. Grandmaster Moy Yat would occasionally have a notion and simply request that the video camera be brought in to capture. At times, he would simply record a speech he was delivering while visiting a student’s school. He would use ving tsun to convey himself and his beliefs.

The cassettes’ quality deteriorated over time as copies of copies were manufactured and sold on the open market. Using Grandmaster Moy Yat’s personal collection of video cassettes, we now desire to restore the quality to its greatest potential degree. Unfortunately, the original VHS cassettes had been destroyed or were lost in certain circumstances. In these circumstances, we contacted his older pupils to obtain the next best version. These are the finest versions available, however some of the video and audio quality has been compromised. Please watch the sample movie to ensure that the quality is satisfactory before purchase.
