Gracie Rickson “Choke” is more than simply a combat film; it depicts the participants’ fear, preparation, and visceral intensity as they prepare for battle.
View the Ultimate Fighting Championship from a different perspective.
The film depicts the training for and competition in Vale Tudo Japan 1995, a mixed martial arts competition in which practically anything may happen.
(“Vale Tudo” translates to “Anything Goes,” but the restrictions aren’t quite that lax.)
Three of the participants are profiled in depth in the video.

1 – Todd Hays is an all-around gifted athlete with a kickboxing background.
His confusion and trepidation are palpable as he seeks to leverage this event to fund his Olympic bobsled goals.

2 – Koichiro Kimura is a Japanese amateur shootfighting champion who longs to compete against the greatest.
You meet his parents, who are worried that he would perish in the ring.

3 – Rickson Gracie is the reigning champion and the finest of the illustrious Gracie family.
It’s no surprise that he gets the majority of the attention.
In addition to the harsh realism of the combat, you’re shown some amusing backstage footage: Rickson’s request for a belt in addition to a trophy is met with laughter, as is his last-minute need to use the lavatory.

When a near-blind Yuki Nakai exclaims, “Rickson, I’m coming for you!” he is both brave and hilarious.

If you’re searching for a technique video, look elsewhere.
If you’re searching for 2 hours of fighting from today’s finest fighters, this isn’t the video for you.
This is the only DVD available if you want to comprehend the fighter’s mentality in the setting of the ring.
I was rivited from beginning to end.
