Dmitri Skogorev is a top specialist in teaching Russian martial arts both in Russia and internationally. He is the founder and president of the Russian martial arts school “Sibirski Vjun” (SYSTEMA “SV”), as well as the International Center of Russian Martial Arts. He is the author of many books and a number of hand-to-hand fighting instructional programs. He is an honorary member of the “GVARDIA” association of veterans of air assault units and special operations forces.
Skogorev has been systematizing and structurally analyzing the Russian Martial Arts System since 1988, doing research in applied psychology and bioenergetics, which has resulted in theoretical and practical progress depicted in “Sibirski Viun” school programs. The Russian Martial Arts System is divided into two parts: military (army and police) and civilian self-defense.
