Note: Stephen K. Hayes was one of the first non-Japense Students of
Masaki Hatsumi of the Bujinkan and was also a student of Shoto Tanemura
of the Genbukan and Unsui Manaka of the Jinenkan. He played a vital role
in the spread of the Takumatsuden School to the West under the guise of
these arts being ninjutsu. While he has many critics within the
aforementioned organizations his importance to their schools cannot be
discounted.
