Systema – The Master of Fighting by Mikhail Ryabko & Vladimir Vasiliev

Systema is an old Russian combat style used by Russian knights and adopted by some of Russia’s most elite Spetsnaz forces (Special Forces).
It is both lovely in its simplicity and devastating in its application.

Mikhail Ryabko, who was trained by one of Stalin’s Falcons from the age of five and began his operational career in the Russian Spetsnaz (Special Forces) at the age of 15, was not only taught the secrets of this ancient art, but he was also put in the position of repeatedly applying both the art and its principles in life and death combat on a daily basis.
