Lee Yong-bok is the Headmaster of the Korea Taekkyon Association, which the South Korean government recognizes as the legitimate taekkyon organization.
Prior to Grandmaster Song’s death in 1987, Grandmaster Lee studied from him and is actively fighting to maintain the art of taekkyon.
Grandmaster Lee’s national demonstration team performs in the ancient Korean Folk Village in Yongin, Korea.
He is the author of Taekkyon, Three Whistle Self-Defense, and his work has appeared in national and international publications.
He also holds an Honorary Doctorate of Education.
